As we put a bow on the 23/24 school year, we want to highlight the work of 5th grade students in Ms. Ida's class. They spent the last few days of the school year performing as historical figures for their wax museum research project. Students learned about their chosen person and embodied the figure demonstrating for family members and the HWES student body.
5h graders also researched a state and created floats, either pulled or driven by remote controlled cars, and paraded down the hallway of HWES for students to view their hard work. Thank you 5th graders and Ms. Ida for your dedication this week!

Thank you New Amsterdam Clovers 4-H Group for sponsoring pizza for all Heth Washington student lunches on our last day!
If you are attending the awards ceremony today, the parking lot near the playground will be open for parking.
2024 HWES Field Day is in the books! Thank you to our PTO and Field Day Committee for planning a great day! Thank you to the Heth Volunteer Firefighters, Silly Safari Animals, and Ladybug Adventures and all of the volunteers that made today safe and fun for all!

Thank you Mr. Tibbs for supporting elementary band this year and allowing HWES 5th and 6th grade band students the opportunity to perform in the Spring Concert! We appreciate you coming to Heth this year!
