Good afternoon,
The Corydon Campuses were placed on a soft lockdown due to reports of perceived gunshots in the distance behind the high school baseball fields. Recess was immediately moved inside and our academic day was not disrupted. The School Resource Officers conducted an investigation and no apparent threat was observed. As an abundance of caution, the decision has been made to keep students indoors for the remainder of the day.

Thank you CES PTO for purchasing each student a yellow spirit wear shirt for student to wear during special event, especially field trips and field day! Yesterday we celebrated the gift by painting the halls of CES yellow! All staff members were gifted blue CES shirts, just to make sure big kids may be distinguished from the littles!

Thanks to our friends at the Corydon Wal-Mart for their generous donation of school supplies for our students and staff! We were surprised but are very appreciative of the gifts!

If you are headed to the Big Cat Classic tonight at CCHS, please make sure you stay with your child if they visit the playground at CES.
Our 3rd grade students pictured represented CES PRIDE for the first month of the school year. These students demonstrated "persistence" throughout the month to earn this designation! Great job Panthers!
